Popular Activities of Tourism in 25 Cities/provinces of Cambodia

A vacation is defined as the best time away from work to rest or pleasure activities as individual or family to explore new territories outside or to travel as adventure into something you had always wanted to do which you did not have a proper time to plan to do as well. The original beaches of Cambodia are described to be amongst the best in the world and what other place is there where one can be mystified by the grandeur and charms of an ancient city.

As recommended by the Ministry of Tourism, here are some activities which listed as importance things for the visitor in Cambodia:

1. The Visit activities of Eco Tourism:

• Floating villages of the Kampong Phluk Commune and bird-watching is a popular recreation at the Prek Toal habitats in Siem Reap Province. 
• Boating rides on the Tonle Sap Lake and along the mighty Mekong River 
• Fishing activities on the Tonle Sap Lake and the mighty Mekong River 
• Exploring and taking tour through the jungles of the Angkor area or rent a bicycle and cycle around the countryside of Siem Reap and surrounding Angkor Wat Complex. 
• Explore mountain caves/ caverns and travel on elephant back into the jungles of Mondulkiri or Rattanakiri and Kampot Province 
•  Enjoying and relax to explore at the Tonsay Island in Kep City and beaches of Koh Rong Island in Sihanoukville. 
• Visiting the waterfalls in Kampot Province and Kampong Speu (Kirirom National Park) Province 
• Spotting sea dolphins andboat ride through the mangrove forest at the Ream National Park in Sihanoukville. 
• Visiting the Ramsar wetland in Stung Treng 
• Spot and observe the Mekong River dolphins at the Kampi resort in Kratie 
• Swimming and visiting in the crystal clear waters of the Yeak Laom Lake, Rattanakiri and Bousra Waterfalls in Mondulkiri

2. The Visiting activities visiting for Cultural Tourism

• Visiting Angkor Wat complex, a heritage of humanity and world wonder.
• Exploring other ancient Khmer temples in 25 cities/provinces in Cambodia such as those in Siem Reap, Preah Vihear, Kampong Thom Bantey Meanchey, Battambang, Kandal, Takeo, etc.

Highlighting to this regards there is interesting which the visitor should know about it is importance for Cambodia National such National flower such as Romduol flower (Phakar Rumduol) is National Flower originally in Siem Reap, a small yellowish-white flower, is the national flower of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Since ancient times, Cambodian women have often been compared to the Romduol flower because of its attractive fragrance; a unique scent that is prominent in the late afternoon and can travel over long distances with the wind. With its sturdy stems that measure up to 30cm, the Romduol plant can grow to a height of 12 meters. These plants are being planted to enhance public parks.
