This admirable display of contentment, gratitude and happiness leave a feeling of a light, positive atmosphere around. Even though the people are poor, they show satisfaction in living a simple life with earning a few dollars per day to survive. They greet each other on the road and pay respect to each other as they peacefully go about their daily lives which are a synergy that’s quite wonderful and powerful.
Watching the Khmer people go peacefully about their daily lives, talk to them and understand their tradition and culture, which be sure that they will charm you as much as they have charmed us and all others who have crossed their roads.
